Hallmark Channel has picked up a third season of its original series “Good Witch.”
The show, which grew out of a series of movies focusing on the title character, Cassie Nightingale (Catherine Bell), is set to go back into production in August. A Halloween special will air in October, with the regular run of Season 3 set for 2017.
“Fans are enchanted by the magical adventures of Cassie, Sam [James Denton] and Grace [Bailee Madison] — charming characters who have inspired our viewers to believe in the magic that can be found in our everyday lives,” Hallmark’s head of programming Michelle Vicary says in a statement. “We’re excited to see the captivating adventure continue with a third season.”
Season 2 of “Good Witch,” which concludes June 19, is averaging 2.5 million viewers in Live +3.
